Our History
In the mid 90’s, Ed and Chris Enser, purchased, A Horse to Course trailer business in Farmington and relocated it Victor, forming The Trailer Center. In keeping with the Horse/Stock and Carriage business, they continued to provide top quality aluminum trailers from Hillsboro Industries and in addition offering Landscape/Utility, Enclosed Cargo, Heavy Equipment Haulers, Car Haulers, Dump Trailers, Snowmobile, ATV, Boat and Motorcycle Trailers by industry leading manufacturers.
In 1990 Jim Keogan began servicing lawn and garden equipment on the side as a hobby using his prior 10 years of small engine repair experience. It quickly grew into a full service small engine repair shop year round offering pick up and delivery for lawn tractors, push mowers, pressure washers and snow blowers, in the Livingston County area. Deciding to create All County Lawn and Garden, and provide great service for the customers, the business soon expanded by becoming a dealership for several products including the popular Zero Turn mowers. Starting with Everride, Encore, Stiga and now carrying Grasshopper mowers, as well as hedge trimmers, back pack blowers and several other quality brand lawn and garden equipment. As a certified mechanic for 2 and 4 cycle engines, Jim is an expert in Kohler engine repair and specializes in lawn tractor sales.
Chris Enser contacted Jim to do repair work on one of the Argo products, sold by the Trailer Center, a few years ago. The quality service and quick turn around began the business relationship for the two companies. Over the years business was exchanged between the two and as a result they had many satisfied customers. The decision to combine the companies would allow for a more diverse business with continued quality of products and service as well as allow Chris Enser, to retire. She alone has successfully ran the Trailer Center business for years after her late husband’s passing and has created a family with the employees, as well as a family of loyal customers to the business.
Along with all of our quality products, there comes local, personalized service that the "Big-Box Stores" can not match. When we sell you a product we do not send you home with a box, but rather a fully assembled and functioning piece of equipment that is filled with fluids and ready to go. We also take the time to show you how to correctly operate and care for your new purchase. Our sales and service staff have over 50 years of combined experience in this line of work. This experience allows us to provide you with the expert help and services you may need.
Please stop by and visit, let us solve all of your lawn and garden equipment needs as well as your trailer needs whether for landscaping, recreation or horse.
